September

I am reminded by the song "Wake Me Up When September Ends" by Green Day. September has been very busy for me (and I'm loving every minute of it!) It's been a hectic blast to say the least...lol. My assistant Amy and I teamed up two weekends ago for a senior shoot on Saturday (see below)and then a fashion shoot with Danielle on Labor Day Monday. I also did a small shoot solo with Miss Madison that same afternoon. I added to the hectic weekend on Sunday with three..yes THREE baby shoots one right after the other. Having three babies here all at once was actually quite pleasant. They were all fascinated with each other surprisely. Upcoming this weekend (September 20th) I'll be presenting at my first bridal show. I'm very excited and hope this gets my name out. Come out and see myself with Amy, lower level of Valley Hills Mall (Hickory) outside Belks. Look for the hot pink, that will be us!

Some of my favorites from the past shoots of Labor Day weekend.

Aubrey back for her third visit

Danica back for her second visit.

James - East Gaston Senior

Last Saturday I had my first senior session with James from East Gaston. I had hoped for nice weather since it seemed liked it was cooling off, well we had a HOT day unfornately. Kathy, the mom, had contacted me after she quoted being "in sticker shock" from the school senior portrait packages and we scheduled a session. We met around noon in uptown Stanley. After James warmed up to me and my assistant Amy we had a lot of fun. It was a great shoot and I'm really happy with what we got. Good luck to James in the rest of his high school career and so on in the Marnies afterward!

Dani (Danica Elizabeth Wright) 3months

Little Miss Dani finally visited me this past Sunday. Danica just turned three months old last Friday. It's crazy how time flys these days! But she was such a pleasure to work with. After a few diaper changes, dad having to go back home to get just the right shoes and intermission for lunch, I got some great shots. She was very lively for almost two hours. She kicked her legs the whole time she was in the studio, she will definitely walk before even crawling...and we discovered she is already a baby DIVA! Here's some of my favorites of Dani and I added a favorite from her mom's maternity shoot back in March.

Dad is a HUGE yankees fan, so he wanted some of Dani representing!
